The problem statement of this research was does the use animation video improve vocabulary mastery seventh grade students SMP Negeri 4 Baubau. objective to find out whether or not type a quantitative with applying quasi- experimental method. population Baubau as many 325 students. sample taken using cluster random sampling amounted 58 data collection carried by an instrument that test. obtained were analyzed descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on results analysis, it can be concluded there is significant effect application at t-test show probability value (t-count) 2.295 sig (2-tailed) 0.025 which less than 0.05 so alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted null (HO) rejected. It means, before after video, well average pre-test post-test class 51.55 80.76. control 55.24 70.28.
